Hearts Empowering the Poor

Bob and Nancy Monfort

https://heartsempoweringthepoor.org/index.html

What a major blessing it has been for us to meet and now partner with our new friends Bob and Nancy Monfort. We have prayed and asked God for the opportunity to have a personal feel and understanding of the people we will build houses for and of course He connected us with these amazing people right in our own area! Bob and Nancy have answered God’s call to minister to the people of San Luis Colorado, Mexico, which is South of the Yuma border. They have been building houses there since 2010 as well as sharing the Gospel and “adopting” many families through their love and generosity.

Heart4Cabo

Rick & Lesli Antillon

https://www.facebook.com/groups/heart4cabo/

Rick Antillon was led the by the Spirit of the Lord, to start a Facebook Group called Heart4Cabo a name God gave him 6 months prior to hurricane Odile in 2013. Odile was the biggest hurricane to hit land in decades. Heart4Cabo was instantly created as a group for people needing any immediate post hurricane relief, whether it was information, physical, emotional or spiritual. Since then we have evolved full time into weekly providing food, clothing, water, medical, counseling, prayer and mainly shelter as we have donated or made 20 homes live-able up to date through our project Heart for the House.

Heart4Cabo, a non-profit is run daily as volunteers by its founder Rick and his wife Lesli. However, it takes a bigger body of people that collectively help the missions get accomplished. They have part time volunteers that travel to Cabo on occasion to help. On a regular basis they have financial supporters that donate to the different mission projects posted on their Facebook group. Without God working through so many beautiful hearts they would not be able to carry out these missions, hence the name Heart4Cabo.

Operation I-Dream

Samuel Sikapizye

https://www.operationidream.org/

We believe that every person, regardless of who they are, is endowed with a unique dream and possesses the raw potential to achieve it. In the right environment, with proper structure and support, individuals can become the person they are destined to be. Operation iDream provides the fertile soil for dreams to take root, grow, and thrive in an impoverished area of Zambia that previously lacked opportunity.

iDream Community School, iDream Clinic, and iDream Farm is strategically situated on 25 acres of farmland in the tribal region just south of Ndola. Currently, iDream Community School has 375 students, with the goal of eventually further increasing capacity as well as building a high school. The iDream Clinic provides preventative and on-call medical services to iDream students and the surrounding community. The iDream Farm focuses on providing the students with nutritious food, has opened a small, renewable source of income to Operation iDream, and brings the community together to learn about sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and profitable produce marketing techniques. Future development includes iDream Trade School on the property, which will provide young adults with quality professional and entrepreneurial skills.

A21 Logo

A21

https://www.a21.org/

A21 is one of the largest organizations in the world that is solely fighting human trafficking. At a local, domestic, and international level. All over the world, we are not just responding to trafficking that is already taking place, but we are actively working on the frontlines to prevent it from happening to begin with. They employ a contextualized approach because the problem looks different everywhere we work, so does our response. They’re innovative and creative. They identify the gaps in each context and seek to fill them.

Their Reach, Rescue, and Restore programs work together to provide a comprehensive response to human trafficking. Each program has been designed to stand alone–filling critical gaps in the communities we work in without duplicating efforts. They are also committed to giving away their resources and knowledge to other groups combatting human trafficking so they all can reach a tipping point where slavery is abolished everywhere, forever. Whether it’s preventing one life from ever experiencing exploitation in the first place to walking alongside the one who has toward freedom, independence, and a better story. They are with them every step of the way.

EPIC Global Missions

Evangelizing Nations – Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" — that word for nations in the original language is ethnos. We get the word ethnicity from that word. EPIC is focused on reaching different ethnic groups with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sharing the good news is primary to the EPIC mission. Thousands of people accept Jesus for the first time on EPIC mission trips.

Planting Churches – Jesus said "I will build my church...." We believe that, and we know planting churches is the single most effective means to reach and disciple people.

Inspiring Indigenous Pastors – We believe the best pastors in Africa are indigenous pastors, and we have found that many indigenous pastors lack training to grow healthy churches. So, EPIC does church leadership conferences in remote villages to inspire and train pastors who travel great distances to learn how to better lead their church. Learn more about these pastors.

Creating Disciples by Taking Teams – When your average American Christian goes on a two week EPIC mission, their faith is so tested and stretched that it becomes more real than ever before. All team members share the Gospel individually with target people groups and lead many to Jesus for the first time. Most have never done this before and get to experience what only five percent of believers intentionally do—lead someone to Jesus. Mission team members truly become disciples and their lives are radically transformed!

Gospel Passion Ministries

Stephen & Ubah Carlton

https://www.gospelpassionministries.org/

Gospel Passion Ministries exists to encourage and facilitate Christ-filled relationships that will equip others with lasting solutions for their physical, spiritual, and educational needs in order to empower young women in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia to rise above their current situation.
We assist girls and young women that are being exploited and enticed into prostitution and domestic slavery. Many of these young women are enticed from the poorer areas of the countryside with the promise of good paying jobs and a better life. Once they are assimilated into the new life, they have an exceedingly difficult time getting out of it. We will assist them in escaping from this lifestyle through a multi-faceted program. This program will focus on their physical, educational, spiritual, and psychological needs. Our desire is to see lives transformed and instill a sense of pride, accomplishment, and self-worth in the women that we work with. This will only be accomplished through the power of Jesus Christ at work!

Kyler and Claire met in college in 2013, and in 2015 Kyler led a group of high school students on a short-term missions trip to Japan with Encompass World Partners. It was then that the Lord opened his eyes to the need for the gospel in Japan, a nation where less than one percent of the people have ever heard of Jesus. Over the course of two years, Kyler continued doing missions in Japan, and in 2017, after they married, Claire joined him. Since then, they pursued missions in Japan as a couple and now live there full time. They are actively looking for individuals who share this vision to make an eternal Kingdom impact and who want to be a part of this work by staying connected, praying, and giving regularly to this ministry.

Blessed To Be a Blessing Ministries

Luke and Sylvia Green

www.blessedtobeablessingministries.org

My name is Sylvia, my husband Luke and I have always loved serving others. When God blesses you, it is to bless others. We saw a need in and wanted to be able to help. There are so many families in our local community that need food assistance and are not always available to pickup items needed. We started Blessed to be a Blessing Ministries, Inc. as a way to help those in need by providing a food pantry delivery box every other weekend. We never want any one to feel forgotten and this is our way of letting others know they are seen.
